Introduction

I am a lazy girl by nature. If I could, I would lye around on the couch eating oreos while watching "Sex and the city" or "Friends" all the time... That could be my job actually. And my cardio would be shopping.  But let's be realistic, we can't do that.
I was an active child, I had swimming lessons, aerobics, judo etc and nothing stole my heart like dancing, but eventually when I turned 13 and was diagnosed with anemia, I stopped and gained 30 pounds.Since then, I always had this interest with fitness and food. I went to a nutritionist, I was on the Atkins diet, south beach diet... Nothing worked. My anemia was getting worse and I weighed the same. Then a month before I turned 18, I stopped eating meat after watching some horrible PETA videos.... and BOOM I lost all the extra weight.
Now, let's be clear, it's not because I stopped eating meat that all the fat was gone, no. I changed my habits. I stopped eating meat, but I was eating more vegetables and tofu, soy and even fish! My whole outlook on food changed, and my anemia is now totally gone. Since then, I've been collecting a lot of information on fitness and food and got some great tips from different ways. I don't eat meat, but that doesn't mean that'll be here talking about how bad you are for eating it, no. I'm currently doing the Tracy Anderson Method, but I will talk about other fitness methods that I've tried before. So this blog would be ALL about fitness and health through different perspectives and methods. But let's be clear about one thing, I won't talk about diets. For me the word diet just wants me to grab a bag of chips and eat it compulsively. Diets don't work.... What does work is a change of lifestyle. Small changes you can bring into your daily life, for the rest of your life, is what will help you lose the weight, keep it off and be healthy.

You can always ask me anything you want, I'm no expert but I can always try to give you my input on somethings. I'm thinking of showing you some powerful foods that you can incorporate into your meals and some recipes, just tell me your ideas too!

So cool ... yeah, do recipes, how to workout outside of a gym. which play list to workout to , that will motivates us, how to workout without ANY weights, etc when people don't have it.
Places to go to visit and that would forces us to walk instead of sitting - travel by net on other places- do a country / city each week ...
you have many potential.

Cant wait to read more! I too am quite into the clean living healthy lifestyle - which is why I cut out booze last year and dropped an amazing 8 kgs (along with more cardio) I also eat a largely vegi diet but I am Brazilian and we love our steak so cant cut it out completely! x

what a great idea to start this blog!
I totally agree with you about diets, I think you should eat healthy and not think that you you keep a diet for a couple of months you'll get the shape you want and after that you can return to your chips, that's not how it works.
Actually I eat meat sometimes, but rarely pork, i rather prefer chicken brest. It is interesting to hear that you gave up on eating meat and your anemia is gone, since i was a little my mother tells me that meat, milk and spinach are the best to beat anemia.
Maybe you could teach us more about this problem you had.

Hope i'll see soon your next post.
