Today's Breakfast

Everybody knows that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. And it can also be the meal that will set up the rest of your day. Why is that? Well, if you eat a poor breakfast or even better, don't eat one, you'll likely starve for the day and ruined your whole diet. If you don't eat breakfast, lunch will come and you'll be much more hungry and will most likely crave bad foods or you'll snack like crazy during the day because you starved your body, and you don't want that. Diets a side, it will affect your whole body. You'll not perform so well in school or work if you don't eat a nutrient packed breakfast.

I always eat breakfast, even when I'm not that hungry, I always try to eat something, even if it's just a piece of fruit and bring with me some whole wheat crackers in case I get hungry latter.
I  like to change the menus, it always depends on my mood, cravings, or the activity I'll do that day.
Today was a really fulfilling breakfast that kept me satistfied until lunch hour came, I usually drink a small latte but today I felt like I needed some orange juice instead, and it was delicious!



2 oranges
2 egg whites
Parsley
1 whole wheat pita bread
1 tea spoon of Philadelphia cheese

So orange juice for my fiber intake, now for my protein and carbs I stuffed a whole wheat pita bread with two egg whites scrambled with parsley and a little bit of light creamy Philadelphia cheese.




It was delicious off course, egg whites are really good, and does not have the bad cholesterol effects that the yolk has, plus it adds protein to your meal.
So this was my healthy breakfast for today, tell if you want me to of more of these, I always try to add variety to my meals so I would like to share with you some of them and how you can eat good and tasty foods and still be on a healthy diet lifestyle. Don't mind the carbs, you'll have all day to burn them so go all out if you want ;) Just remember to always be whole wheat bread.

I can never eat much at breakfast. I jut drink a HUGE mug of milk with a bit of coffee - no sugar, since I don't like it - and have a snack like an hour later. Usually some fruit or yogurt.

That's my type of breakfast, but I think that P. cheese has as much fats as the egg yolk has, so i would choose to have the whole eggs instead.
I also love milk at breakfast with two whole wheat bread toasts covered with olive oil .. yum.

Looks yummy! I'm ravenous in the morning even though I know that's not the norm. But I could eat so much. Maybe three of these sandwiches :)

I started eating more healthily when I was pregnant and carried it on afterwards..
I usually have:
* mixed fruit and whole wheat toast with low fat spread, with a cup of green tea sweetened with fruit sugar followed by water.. x

That looks delicious! I'm terrible with breakfast because I am never very hungry in the morning so I usually make myself a fruit juice which satisfies me plenty most days. My favourite one is banana, pineapple and coconut water. It tastes like pina colada ;)
